Livestock – premiums in pig farming (sows) by municipality in Montenegro (2025)

This dataset contains data on premiums in pig farming (sows) under livestock support measures by municipality in Montenegro for 2025. The data includes the number of beneficiaries, number of animals and total payment amounts.

Support in pig farming aims to preserve and improve pork production, stabilize farm income and increase food self-sufficiency. Such measures are particularly important in periods of rising production costs and market disruptions, ensuring continuity of production and sustainability of farms .

Premiums are granted per sow, subject to compliance with prescribed conditions, including farm registration and livestock records .

The data is provided in a long (tidy) format and aggregated at the municipality level.
